Smile, its a sunflower...

"And the yellow sunflower by the brook, in autumn beauty stood."

      - William Cullen Bryant

Such a good time of year to have beautiful sunflowers spilling out of vases around the house.
I was inspired to get out my well worn yellow skirt after coming home to find a bundle of bright yellow sunflowers on our dining room table...

  28. This is gorgeous.

I cannot believe how great the contrast between black and yellow looks here - and I never would have thought to wear black socks with it, but they seriously make the outfit!

The fact that it's high-waisted is perfect, and the turquoise of your necklace is the ultimate compliment to the canary yellow.

You look gorgeous here, and the skirt looks like so much fun to wear. Really really inspiring post - I may just go buy the yellow skirt that's sort of similar on Sabo Skirt right now because of this post!
