Winter OOTD: A beanie reborn

“For last year's words belong to last year's language
And next year's words await another voice.”
― T.S. EliotFour Quartets

Last year I lost my favourite burgundy beanie on a bus trip to Mt Ruapehu. So these holidays I bought the same wool and followed the same pattern to replace what was once lost.

 drop hem dress - boohoo
beanie - made with this pattern
shearling coat - I made
boots - Andrea Biani

Ellen's been doing some extra work this week (while I've been beanie-ing etc) so we hadn't managed to take any photos. Luckily my friend Deborah is handy with a camera so I made her take these for me after we had an outing to see Transformers (which was full of explosion s + dubsteppy awesomeness btw).

Hehe, I'm currently melting in the summer heat here but seeing your adorable, layered up outfit makes me crave cooler weather, if only so I can copy it!
