I'd like to think these photos make me look graceful, stylish and all-knowing when it comes to the art of 'coat slinging' and wearing jackets on shoulders. In reality I am not. This trend has always puzzled me, I mean it seems so impractical to not use the sleeves of your coat and have it fall off whenever you attempt to lift your arms. Yet somehow, 'not' wearing your coat has become a big thing in the fashion industry. From fashion bloggers to editors and stylists, coat slinging was a very popular styling choice at fashion week this year. So I decided to give it a go the other week and can report that it's definitely not at easy as it looks. My leather jacket fell off my shoulders about five times and it was terribly inconvenient. I just don't know how they do it. This is one trend that will continue to fascinate me, but I don't quite think I have the grace and skills to master it.
