Inspiration comes from many places, the point is you get to choose where...

A woman who doesn't wear perfume has no future
 - Coco Chanel

Today's inspiration stemmed from two places.

First from the visionary that was Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel and the brand still continuing to shine.

The beautiful packaging and ad campaign (with Keira Knightly) of their Coco Mademoiselle Perfume
got me thinking about Gabrielle,
her menswear-inspired fashion and the effortless style the French seem to possess.

Next I turned to a book I read recently...

Parisian Chic: A style guide by Ines de la Fressange.

A gorgeous and entertaining read full of tips and insight into that covetable Parisian style.

This is a great read if you love Paris
but cannot possibly imagine how a parisian would think to dress,
Well worth a trip to BookDepository.

Not the stereotypical french look,
but who said being inspired meant I couldn't make my own arrangements ...
